Word on the street is that Sony is going to miss their release milestone again on the portable PSP game system. All it took were a few words from Activision CEO, Bobby Kotick, to get the rumor mill grinding. The executive guessed (in a public way) that the product wouldn’t smell the aisles of COMPUSA until the second quarter of 2005. Sony has had an ambitious release schedule since they announced the PSP, so this may be a lot of talk by people who want them to be off the mark. Wall Street is filled with skeptics, after all.
